GOLDEN TEMPO
Savoir-faire
Elevation towards the noblest materials and deep horological culture. Manual winding only, movements in gold only, dials in gold exclusively, indexes and hands strictly in gold, cases in gold and platinum. And finally, closure by a gold and platinum buckle to appreciate the beauty of the movement.
The overall lines of the case are pure and minimalist, with no protrusions or aggressive angles. It exudes fluid softness from every angle, seamlessly blending with the bracelet to form a cohesive whole. The case epitomizes discreet purity, extending this quality to the bracelet and overall dial/function display.
The gold dial of the TORIC timepiece is finished with meticulous traditional graining techniques, offering a finely textured matte surface. This finish is achieved through an ancient process of careful hand-brushing followed by delicate polishing. Perfected by master watchmakers like Michel Parmigiani, this method produces a soft and even surface with a unique dispersion of light. Inspired by the vintage designs of the 1960s, the dials feature ‘bevelled’ edges that taper towards the inside of the case, adding an additional aesthetic dimension.
The strap is integral to the overall approach. Crafted from alligator leather, its Nubuck finish is adorned with a double-point stitch. Reminiscent of the craftsmanship of the finest Neapolitan tailors, this “punto a mano” stitching is an aesthetic signature that also enhances comfort, and plays a crucial role in the wearing experience. The pastel shades of the straps are subtle yet striking, evoking a sense of serenity and offering a new dimension to masculine elegance.
At the core of these models, crafted in rose gold, is the movement. The TORIC Petite Seconde boasts a new engine with three large rose gold bridges, revealing only the barrels and the regulating organ. This innovative architecture, adorned with Côtes de Fleurier decorations, pays homage to traditional watchmaking in a minimalist and contemporary aesthetic. Serving as a key stylistic element, it enhances the overall design of the watch.
Savoir-faire
Drawing inspiration from Doric columns and the geometry of the torus, our collection has maintained its identity and strength since its inception in 1996.
Though it has evolved over the years, one element has remained constant: the knurled bezel, now a signature feature of our House’s collections.
Influenced by the “vintage” aesthetic of the 1960s, TORIC dials feature a distinctive bevelled design. Unlike informal flat dials, their edges gently drop to align with the inner face of the case, resulting in a subtle variation in levels.
This bevelled technique draws inspiration from the traditional manufacture of watch glasses.
This meticulous craftsmanship ensures a perfect match between the glass and the watch case, adding to the collection’s timeless appeal.
