On the back of the watch, the engraved Pershing yacht is a discreet reference to the collaboration between the famous yacht manufacturer and the watch Manufacture.
A bold presence
Following on from the Pershing "zero-zero-two", which endorsed the partnership between Parmigiani Fleurier and the Italian high-end yacht manufacturer, Pershing, the Manufacture presents a new, more resolutely masculine chronograph. Its name: The Pershing "zero-zero-five". Its environments: on or beneath the sea, with a bold presence and faultless reliability.
With a diameter of 45 mm – larger than that of the Pershing 002 – the Pershing 005 is driven by the in-house automatic PF 334 movement, which is equipped with the chronograph complication (large seconds, 30-minute counter, 12-hour counter), coupled with the date indication in a large window. It offers a 50-hour power reserve. Comprising 303 components and 68 jewels, the finishes on this movement – "Côtes de Genève" and bevelled bridges – perfectly illustrate the brand's expertise and attention to detail. The steel case, the silver-coloured dial, the broad Delta-shaped hands with luminescent coating and the black rubber strap make for a stylish, sporty look.
