KALPA XL HEBDOMADAIRE

"One idea which had been close to my heart since the launch of Parmigiani Fleurier was to create a "shaped" watch with lugs which would be completely harmonious and seamlessly integrated into the case middle. To achieve this aim, I took the profile of the watch as the starting point for my design, with a lug whose proportions are in line with the golden ratio."

Michel Parmigiani

The Kalpa Hebdomadaire model is a highly symbolic piece. Its "tonneau" shape was designed in 1997 by Michel Parmigiani who began by imagining the profile of its case middle to ensure an ergonomic fit, before conceiving its surface. This founding design gave rise to the brand's stylistic codes which now form its visual identity.

The shaped movement of the Kalpa Hebdomadaire calibre PF110 was entirely produced in the workshops of the Parmigiani manufacture. It has an autonomy of eight days (215 hours), as well as a patented power reserve indication that reflects the actual winding of the mainspring.

The dial has a grille finish reminiscent of a car's radiator grille, yet the indices, the small second and the power reserve are all beautifully legible. The Kalpa Hebdomadaire features a case in rose gold or white gold.
