Beautiful both inside and out, the Tonda 1950 Stone-set Mother of Pearl has a movement adorned with the Haute Horlogerie finishing that Parmigiani Fleurier masters with virtuosity.
The delicacy of the dial
Both modern and discreet, this classic from the Tonda 1950 collection wonderfully epitomises the brand’s codes. Its iconic tear-drop lugs and sleek, feminine profile are guaranteed to turn heads. It is distinguished above all by its dial made from a thin layer of mother-of-pearl. Characterised by its iridescence and ability to bring beauty to the wearer, this noble material comes from the finest pearls carefully selected by the Manufacture.
The dial is available in two colours: a white mother of pearl with a subtle and refined elegance, and a more mysterious grey Tahitian mother of pearl that brings a lovely depth to the whole. The rose or white gold of the case responds to these two shades. The delicacy of the dial is enhanced by the simplicity of the hands and indices. It is underlined by a circle of 84 brilliant-cut diamonds set into the bezel.
The Tonda 1950 Stone-set Mother of Pearl is brought to life by the brand’s automatic PF70 movement with 145 components. It is driven by a micro-oscillating weight in intricately decorated platinum and has a 42-hour power reserve.
