The world's first 30-second tourbillon
The launch of the Tonda Tourbillon in 2004 was a world first for Parmigiani Fleurier. The watchmaking centre unveiled a 30-second tourbillon that performs two revolutions per minute, produced entirely in-house. Classic and timeless, the Tonda Tourbillon pays tribute to the complication that beats within it.
Hand-wound, tourbillon & power reserve indication movement
The Tonda Tourbillon is equipped with a 30-second tourbillon and a central seconds display exclusive to the Parmigiani Fleurier Watchmaking Centre. The hand-wound PF510 movement has a double barrel mounted in series, giving it a power reserve of up to one week, a rare feat for a complication such as this. The movement bridges are hand-bevelled, creating a spectacular play of light, and every surface is decorated to the highest standards of Haute Horlogerie.
