Thanks to the strength of the bond that links it to Parmigiani Fleurier, Pershing, the famous Italian yacht constructor, gave its name to the Manufacture's first collection of sports watches.
Contemporary and refined, this line is characterised by its exceptional finishes and curves that are reminiscent of a yacht hull. With its tourbillon at 6 o'clock, its exceptionally light titanium case middle, rose gold bezel and two-material effect dial, the Pershing Tourbillon Abyss sets the bar even higher.
Entirely designed and developed by Parmigiani Fleurier, this model, with its 237 components, is powered by the proprietary PF510 calibre with a week's power reserve. It is water-resistant to 100 metres and its rose gold screw-down crown is designed to resist a pressure of 10 atmospheres. The opulent case, measuring 45 mm in diameter, is made from white gold. The bezel is worked in counter-relief and presents a very masculine sand-blasted effect.
The Manufacture's dial makers have succeeded in creating an incredible depth effect on the dial, which is decorated with a monochrome motif of blue waves, creating the illusion of relief from the different surface finishes. Like a painting, the face of the watch presents the spectacle of reflections on the water's surface at the end of the day.
