A delicate star
Unveiled in 2009, the Kalparisma collection features a rose gold piece by the name of Kalparisma Nova whose warm tones create an elegant play of light. This ellipse was named "Nova" after the Latin "nova stella" (meaning 'new star'). This poetic watch features a delicate six-pointed star shining at 6 o'clock which marks the seconds and subtly enlivens the dial. The Delta-shaped hour and minute hands feature a luminescent coating, enhancing the legibility of this attractive display.
The Kalparisma Nova is powered by the PF4000 self-winding mechanical movement, which is entirely produced in the Manufacture's workshops. This features the Haute Horlogerie finishes so dear to ParmigianiFleurier. The high standard of finish on each component is a unique dovetailing of the different centres of competence that make up the Manufacture. The ultimate touch in refinement from ParmigianiFleurier comes in the form of the watch's oscillating weight, also made from rose gold; this features a barley grain decoration, which is a pattern used by master watchmakers in guilloché work.
