Sharing the passion for excellence

For many years now, Parmigiani Fleurier has sought out and developed strong, lasting partnerships based on a simple logic guided by the sharing of common values such as fine artisanship, and an unwavering quest for excellence, innovation and authenticity. Such are the values shared with the likes of Bugatti, Hermès, the Montreux Jazz Festival, le Musée de l’Elysée or the Arcanys Early Learning Foundation who are all driven to exceed expectations in their respective fields. That’s what makes them such valuable partners to Parmigiani Fleurier.

The court jester; the watch family that dares to do it all

The first meeting between Parmigiani Fleurier and Bugatti took place in 2001. At this time, the prestigious Molsheim-based firm was seeking to build a strong association with a luxury Swiss watch company that fulfilled very precise criteria. This brand had to be devoted to both technical and artistic excellence. It had to possess an acute sense of design, and of the harmony of forms. It also had to have an independent manufacture; in other terms, to have the freedom of production which can foster limitless creative potential. Bugatti linked its destiny with Parmigiani Fleurier, and the partnership started in 2001 was formalised in 2004. Since this time, the Parmigiani Fleurier watchmaking centre has striven to create timepieces for the Bugatti collection which are cars reborn in watch form.

Refinement at its purest

Since Parmigiani Fleurier was created, the brand has been turning to Hermès, a global byword for excellence, for the leather straps complimenting its watches. These provide the prestigious finishing touch, bringing luxury to the wrist, and enhancing the watch with the richness of their colours and the quality of the leather. The Hermès group has been the Parmigiani Fleurier watchmaking centre's partner since 2006 in its role as stakeholder. This fruitful collaboration is due to the shared values which unite the two houses: refinement, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and an uncompromising approach to achieving the very highest quality.

“At Montreux, time belongs to the artists” – Claude Nobs

Supporting the talented artists of tomorrow, uniting music lovers, promoting artistic collaborations, sharing the expertise of Swiss luxury watches – these are the ambitions that Parmigiani Fleurier has been aiming to achieve in its role as the Main Sponsor of the Montreux Jazz Festival since 2007. Since 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival has been a unique event in the world of music, and it owes its uniqueness to the values espoused by its founder. Claude Nobs infused his festival with a remarkable feeling of warmth, guided by a closeness to the artists and the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. With Montreux, he created a monument to his talent for creating artistic collaborations, and to his obsession with sound quality. This forms the unique strength of the Montreux Jazz Festival today, and the reason why Parmigiani Fleurier is so proud to be associated with it.

An alliance with the world of photography

Since 2014, Parmigiani Fleurier has been partnering the Musée de l’Elysée, a world-renowned institution in Lausanne, devoted entirely to photography. The two brands share the same desire to preserve the legacy of the past in their respective fields while, at the same time, encouraging learning and development among future generations. Through its commitment, Parmigiani hopes to provide long-lasting, robust support to photography, an art form which continually captures the truth behind a single instant, and to encourage the emerging talents set to become the creative forces of the future.

The magical waltz of the balloons

In symbiosis with nature, and in the most perfect silence, it is still possible to explore the vastness of the world, and discover a new perspective on it. A hot air balloon flight is an experience never to be forgotten. It is this unique character that drew Parmigiani Fleurier to support the International Balloon Festival in Château d’Oex. The manufacture has been the event's Presenting Sponsor since 2006, sharing with the ballooning world the values of authenticity, tradition, and quality.

The cornerstone of learning – creating the foundations for a lifetime

Parmigiani Fleurier has decided to support the Arcanys Early Learning Foundation which seeks to encourage maths education for the country's disadvantaged pre-schoolers. This means the Manufacture has committed to working with Swiss entrepreneur Alan Debonneville, based in Cebu, who designed an innovative and fun learning method, based on recognising and counting animals. His foundation employs young teachers who go and visit families living below the poverty line. There they practise with the children concerned and also teach the method to the parents who can then continue the process themselves.
