Julien Dewaele, won the PARMIGIANI MONTREUX JAZZ SOLO KEYS AWARD.

october 23, 2018

Last summer at the Montreux Jazz Festival, a young French artist, Julien Dewaele, won the PARMIGIANI MONTREUX JAZZ SOLO KEYS AWARD. His performance coupled the piano’s classical harmony with the striking vibe of electronic music. He baptized this project HØJDE which means “altitude” in Danish, capturing the change of perspective he aims for through his work. He received a Parmigiani Fleurier watch as a first prize for the award. Yesterday, we were proud to welcome Julien at the Parmigiani Fleurier manufacture where he discovered the craftsmanship behind the timepiece he owns.

“There are visits that will leave their mark on you – Parmigiani Fleurier’s manufacture was one of them. Hours of work in each second that passes by, or when music and watchmaking know-how are animated by the same mechanisms that are passion and patience. Thank you for this invitation.”
