This is the largest of all the Parmigiani Fleurier ranges. Derived from the Italian word for "round", the Tonda Collection demonstrates the creativity of Parmigiani Fleurier. The purity of its round shape provides scope for experimentation to develop the brand's complications and mechanical marvels. These include this ultra-thin tourbillon, which sits snugly inside the Tonda 1950 calibre, keeping the time display in the centre despite the side-by-side arrangement of a tourbillon and micro-rotor; or the integrated chronograph of the Tonda Chronor, which includes a chronograph, a split-second function and a large date – all on a single integrated round main plate. The watch complications of the Tonda range are a point of reference for the entire Parmigiani Fleurier collection. The Tonda is both a testing ground and a launch pad for timepieces born from the inspiration of Michel Parmigiani and his team of watchmaking engineers.
