International Hot Air Balloon Festival in Chateau D’Oex

It is still possible to explore the world in the utmost silence and in symbiosis with nature. To fly in a hot air balloon is an experience that you never forget.

Because of this exceptional characteristic, Parmigiani Fleurier decided to support the International Hot Air Ballooning Festival in Château d’Oex. The manufacture is the event’s Presenting Sponsor since 2006 and shares the values of authenticity, tradition and quality that are inherent to the ballooning world


The Cancer Research UK Boat Races

Parmigiani Fleurier is the official timing sponsor of the Cancer Research UK Boat Races, one of the oldest sporting events in the world which opposes the rowing crews from Oxford and Cambridge universities on a race on River Thames since 1829. This annual contest holds an important part in the British culture.

With a heritage at the roots of Swiss watchmaking tradition, Parmigiani Fleurier feels very close to the values of rowing, such as they are demonstrated at each Boat Race. A spirit of challenge, yet of fair-play; individual perseverance combined with the knowledge that one can only succeed as a team; finally, the importance of our heritage and of remaining faithful to it.

Parmigiani Fleurier and le Musée de L’Elysée

Montreux Jazz Festival

Bringing together music lovers, supporting young talents, creating a communal space for artistic expression, sharing know-how – such are the aims of Parmigiani Fleurier as Main Sponsor of the Montreux Jazz Festival. This partnership signed in 2007 reflects the desire to aim for excellence and transmit the cultural legacy which are dear to the manufacture.

Since 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival has been a unique event in the world of music, and it owes its uniqueness to the values espoused by its founder. Inclusiveness, closeness, fellowship; the ability to bring diverse artists together, combined with an obsession for high sound quality – these principles, so dear to Claude Nobs and which he instilled into every aspect of the Festival, continue to be its great strength.

Arcanys Early Learning Foundation

Parmigiani Fleurier has decided to support the Arcanys Early Learning Foundation which seeks to encourage maths education for the country's disadvantaged pre-schoolers. This means the Manufacture has committed to working with Swiss entrepreneur Alan Debonneville, based in Cebu, who designed an innovative and fun learning method, based on recognising and counting animals. His foundation employs young teachers who go and visit families living below the poverty line. There they practise with the children concerned and also teach the method to the parents who can then continue the process themselves.

To date, 3000 families have been coached. The benefits of this method have been the subject of two studies so far; these studies confirmed that all the subjects being monitored showed clear progress, not only in their aptitude for mathematics but also in their language and social skills; the bond between the children and their parents was also strengthened. The Arcanys Early Learning Foundation plans to apply its learning method to 4-year-olds across an entire city.  Parmigiani Fleurier is closely following the negotiations in progress with one of Cebu's neighbouring cities, where the project is planned to begin in 2017.
